Ponte di Legno

Ponte di Legno is a tourist resort on the tip of Valle Camonica and it is the nordest city of Brescia province. 4 valleys converge towards the city: 2 from the north (Valle delle Messi and Valle di Viso) and 2 from the south (Val Sozzine and Valbione)

Completely immersed in a wide valley floor, Ponte di Legno act sas a border through Passo Tonale between Lombaria and Trentino-Alto Adige, while Passo Gavia between Brescia and Sondrio province. It offers a large unique ski circuit amidst the unspoilt nature of the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello Regional Park.

From the city, you can admire the Castellaccio mountain range composed of the homonymous mountain, the mountaintops of Lagoscuro, Payer and Venezia. The village center is lively and full of bars, shops, handicraft activities, nightlife with clubs. All set in a breathtaking natural setting in every season of the year.

Activities

The Pontedilegno-Tonale area is one of the most cherished skiing destinations of the entire Alpine range. From the 3,000 m high Presena glaciers, where you can ski until late spring, starts one of the longest slopes in Europe where you can reach Ponte di Legno non-stop, after eleven exciting kilometers of powder. There’s also a snowpark, amazing backcountry tracks, and the opportunity to go on a backcountry skiing raid in the Adamello glaciers, take the snowmobiles out for a spin, cross-country skiing, ice-skating and much more... all waiting for you.

Here you can find a lot of shops that offer various kinds of equipment for all types of snow sports. You will also find various accessories, such as toboggans, snowshoes, helmets and everything you will need to live a fantastic experience.

Not only: you will have a unique experience up high in the mountains, among the solid cliffs of Adamello-Presanella and Ortles-Cevedale. You’ll be able to walk down a dense network of trails, in direct contact with nature, that are able to satisfy all levels of expertise.

Nightlife

Ponte di Legno is an ideal destination for young people. Many are the bars in front of the ski slopes that offer the typical bomabardino, beers, spritz, music and entertainment. Clubs and pubs are not lacking and are open until late at night!
